Decorate a bio with hearts, frames and dividers

Use symbols to separate useful details or give a bio a consistent mood. Choose one or two kinds of accents rather than decorating every line. You can copy the examples below or add a phrase to the profile you are already writing.

How to use it

  1. Pick an example that matches the tone you want.
  2. Copy it to edit elsewhere, or add it to your profile draft.
  3. Explore more stars, hearts and kaomoji in the symbols tool; use ☆ to keep your favorites.
  4. Check line lengths and character support in the actual app before finishing your bio.

Check before posting

  • Long dividers can wrap onto two lines on smaller screens. Keep them only as long as needed.
  • Screen readers may pronounce decorative characters unexpectedly. Use ordinary text for important instructions.
  • Favorites and recently copied choices help you find symbols and styles again. They do not store your full input sentences.
  • The same character may look different across phones, operating systems and apps.

Frequently asked questions

Why does selecting a symbol not copy it immediately?

Selecting a symbol shows it in the chosen-symbol area. Use the copy button to copy, or the insert action when editing your profile.

Why does a symbol appear as an empty square?

The destination device or app may not support that character. Try a more common alternative and check it in the actual app.
